A lot of web agencies do great work designing and maintaining sites for their clients. Many of the sites they build provide great SEO out the box, whether they are using a framework that helps with that (such as WordPress) or not. Once a site launches, quite often that is seen as the end of their SEO efforts, and this can be for a number of reasons:
- If they haven’t been asked to work on SEO on an ongoing basis as part of a retainer, then of course they aren’t going to keep plugging away at improving rankings
- They have SEO in their locker but lack the resource available to offer it to every client
- They lack SEO expertise and so don’t make a play for a monthly ongoing engagement
If you’re looking for someone who can help with the last two points on this list, then I can help by offering my services as a “virtual” team member, by providing white label SEO as part of your overall offering.
- I’ve worked in a number of agencies in different roles, so can fit in as part of a large team or a boutique setup
- Experience of many verticals
- I can help with technical SEO (either pre- or post-launch), on-page optimisation, content production and marketing, linkbuilding strategy and also data analysis and data science
- I’m not wedded to any particular SEO tools although I have experience of many
