About

Hellooooo. My name’s Tom, I’ve been making and marketing websites since 1995 when I was first introduced to HTML at school. I’ve been a digital marketing consultant for 15 years. I’ve been doing search engine optimisation and web analytics professionally since 2007, and running Google Ads (other versions of PPC are available) since 2009. I provide SEO services and more in Royston, Hertfordshire (just outside Cambridge) but can work remotely with anyone across the UK.

Apart from being a seasoned search engine marketing expert, over the years I’ve worked on/with some of the UK’s best known brands [1] in a variety of roles [2] across a load of different verticals [3]. I also have experience with a bunch of different technologies [4].

I can help if you have a search engine visibility problem, need your web analytics looking at, want to ask questions of your business data but don’t know where to start. If you just need an experienced head to come in and have a chat about where you should be headed that’s cool too, no strings.

I only work on things I know I can improve. If it’s over my head or the problem is not one I can fix, I will tell you, but I’ll still give you some tips. If I can improve things, I will do it as efficiently as possible.

I also provide white-labelled SEO services in case you an agency looking for additional ongoing or ad hoc resource to support your team.

Final thing: I prefer working with small to medium-sized businesses, because the people who work there are more likely to have skin in the game, they can work faster because they aren’t held up by red tape, and because it’s easier to make a tangible impact (and that’s what drives me — problem solving and optimisation).
